I'm not ashamed to admit it... I love Twilight. Yes, I've already seen New Moon, and I have to say it was nowhere near as good as Twilight. Too much werewolf, not enough vampire. I realize how lame this is, so I will go ahead and make fun of myself before anyone else does.

I've Recently Finished Reading

The History of Love by Nicole Krauss. A beautiful, beautiful book, I HIGHLY recommend it. Krauss is married to fellow writer Johnathan Safran Foer, author of the deliciousness that is Everything is Illuminated, so you can expect rich characters, lots of wordplay, and inventive structure.

This book came out a couple years ago but I only recently had the chance to start reading heavily again, and The History of Love was high on my to-read list. It may have been a little depressing (especially given the season and our recent rainfalls) but everyone loves a good cry now and then, right? It's why we rent sappy movies, and it's why we read sad novels. So curl up with a cup of tea and a nice fleecy blanket and enjoy.
